Nick Taylor Sr and wife Debbie formed Nick’s Tree Service in the Tulsa area over 25 years ago. Nick and Debbie often remind their staff, “we are not really in the tree business --we are in the people business." In America there are approximately 20,000 existing tree companies of those it is estimated only 225 are Accredited members of TCIA,Tree Care Industry of America for: Adherence to Ethical Business Practices: Compliance with Industry Standards for Safety and Performance; and Provision of quality service. Nick’s employee's continuance to attend classes and seminars brings state of the industry techniques into this business and helps make this company one of the safest in Oklahoma. Striving for excellence has always been a goal of Nick’s Tree Service, Inc. Equipped with the right equipment plus a team well educated and trained in the Arboriculture industry allows Nick’s Tree Service to fulfil the company motto, “We go where no one else can go.”

Nick Taylor Sr.

Founder
Nick established Nick’s Tree Service in the Tulsa area in 1994

His vast 25 year experience as a Journeyman Union Ironworker enabled him to implement the use of cranes and create his unique style of rigging.

The Arboriculture industry has featured numerous innovations of Nick's in national trade magazines. Nick has also gained considerable respect as a pioneer and leader in the industry as well as an industry speaker.

Debbie Taylor

Founder
Debbie, Nick’s wife has shared in all phases of the creation and building of their company.

In the beginning, she wore all the hats necessary to keep up with bookkeeping, scheduling all the work and crews. She now functions as the company administrator and delegates daily operations to their office staff.

Founder

Debbie Taylor

Nick Taylor, Jr.

Equipment Operator
Nick Jr. is a versatile employee. He is one of Nick and Debbie’s sons and grew up in the tree industry. Nick is certified in numerous other areas of the Arboriculture industry.

He is a NCCCO licensed crane operator for the 100 ton or 40 ton crane. In the Arboriculture industry he is certified as an CTSP (Certified Tree Care Safety Professional). He is also a skilled operator on numerous other equipment. When he is not in the field helping remove trees he might be found working in the shop.

Ephraim Taylor

Chief Rigger
Ephraim is also one of Nick and Debbie’s sons who grew up in the tree industry.

You most likely will find him high in the tree, performing his skills as an expert climber, cutting a limb to be lowered to the ground by the crane. He has honed his skills as an adept crane rigger and trainer.

Ephraim is certified in numerous areas of the Arboriculture industry including that of CTSP (Certified Tree Care Safety Professional). He continues to be an award-winning competitor competing in ISA and other climbing and skill competitions where he has earned first place awards in many events and even in the Master’s challenges. He has also competed in the American Ninja Warrior as the Tree Ninja.

Equipment Operator
Nick Jr. is a versatile employee. He is one of Nick and Debbie’s sons and grew up in the tree industry. Nick is certified in numerous other areas of the Arboriculture industry.

Alexandra Stewart

She enjoys sharing her expert knowledge with Nick’s customers. Alex is a graduate of Oklahoma State University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Forest Ecology. In her free time, Alex’s favorite place is outdoors enjoying nature, climbing mountains, hiking, or spending time in her back yard.
